Carbide Tipped Band Saws
The saw body has a very high wear resistance due to being specially alloyed tempered steel. Carbide tips are welded to the saw with a special welding method. Due to these processes, low vibration, clean cutting surface and long life are achieved with these saws during cutting. In addition to resistance to abrasive materials, one of the most important advantages of carbide saws is the very high cutting speed. For this reason, it is especially preferred in ductile materials such as aluminum and its alloys. It is also ideal for high-silicon cast materials due to its wear resistance.
